for every four kilometers.
The car was
acquired by the erstwhile Provincial Government of

then British Governor of the Province and on attaining
independence, by the state Police Chief. Besides
erstwhile British Governors of the province, many
British Viceroys including Lord Wavell and Lord Louis
Mountbatten graced this car. India’s famous freedom
fighters like Mahatma Gandhi and Dr Rajendra
Prasad traveled in this car to meet the Governor of
Madhya Bharat between 1933 and 1935. It was last
officially used by Shri K F Rustamji when he was Police
Chief of Madhya Pradesh. Around 1965, it was given to
Central School of Motor Transport at Sagar, Madhya
Pradesh for training purposes. In 1971, when Border
Security Force took over the Central School of Motor
Transport from Madhya Pradesh Police at Sagar, the car
came as a gift to the BSF.
