BSF ANNUAL OPERATIONAL COMMUNICATION CONFERENCE BEGINS
The two day annual conference of BSF
Communication officers begins in New Delhi. Sh A K Mitra, DG BSF inaugurated
the conference also known as Annual Operational Communication Conference on
05th Feb 2007 at BSF HQ, CGO Complex, New Delhi.
The operational communication Conference is organised every year by the
BSF to review the existing communication system and to provide solutions to
communication related problems by adopting latest technologies. An
exhibition of electronic gadgets developed by various Frontiers and Training
Institutions were also organised at this occasion. Integrated campus
security system, Border surveillance System and multi purpose macro
processor based access control system etc are some of the useful gadgets
displayed during the exhibition. Inaugurating the conference Sh A K Mitra,
DG BSF highlighted the importance of R&D and improvisation in the field of
communication. He emphasised on the need of optimum utilisaiton of the
talents available in the Force for improvement of the system on a continuous
basis. Director General National Informatics Centre was also present at the
conference as a special invitee.
